It all began with a Bob Ross costume. Cody and Sonya met on Bumble, where the initial message about happy trees developed into a first date on June 1st, 2019.

When Sonya's dream work took her from California to New York and then to Massachusetts, Cody dropped everything and followed (or rather, he brought everything with on the cross-country move). [Photo below shows Cody recovering from the move...]

On one of their adventures, Cody and Sonya found themselves in the South Pacific, Tahiti. After an unforgettable hike up Mont Marau, Cody asked Sonya for her hand in marriage! And she said YES!
